SSI Scuba Diver

You’ve never dived before and you would like to start by getting an entry-level certification but you don’t have enough time to take a full course? This is your choice! 

The SSI Scuba Diver (eLearning) course is a streamlined version of the Open Water Diver program, featuring just 2 open water dives instead of 4. By choosing this course, you’ll complete the same theoretical knowledge and confined water skills as the Open Water Diver course. Once certified, you’ll be qualified to dive up to 12 meters under the direct supervision of a SSI professional (Divemaster or Instructor), allowing you to explore the underwater world at any time and in any location.

SSI Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver course at Puffer Divers in Koh Samui, Thailand, is our most popular beginner course. Completing this course will allow you to dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters with your buddy, anywhere in the world.

If you’re deciding between the full Open Water Diver course and the shorter Scuba Diver course, we highly recommend the Open Water course if you have the extra day. However, if you’re short on time, the Scuba Diver course is an excellent alternative and can always be upgraded to the full Open Water certification in the future.

SSI Advanced Open Water

The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course with Puffer Divers in Koh Samui, Thailand, is designed to boost your confidence, expand your diving knowledge, and refine your underwater skills. This course offers the perfect opportunity to explore new types of diving while enhancing your abilities, all under the expert guidance of our experienced SSI instructors.

Upon completing the Advanced Open Water course, you’ll be certified to dive up to 30 meters and equipped to handle a variety of challenging dive conditions with confidence.

Rescue Diver

The SSI Rescue Diver course will transform your diving experience for the better. Learn to recognize and resolve minor issues before they escalate, build greater confidence, and enjoy plenty of fun along the way.

During the theoretical portion, you’ll gain essential knowledge on identifying potential underwater emergencies, as well as understanding the symptoms and effects of diving-related illnesses. This course equips you with the skills to handle challenges and dive with greater awareness and preparedness.
